SCH16

SCH16 is a rooftop conversion in Berlin-Tegel in which new apartments are created within the existing attic. The old brick walls and timber beams are exposed and combined with white surfaces and oak floors, giving the rooms a warm and authentic character.

The layout makes the most of the available space, with rooms arranged along a central corridor and lit by roof windows. The project demonstrates how the potential of existing roofs can be used to create new living space with a strong identity and a respectful approach to the historic building.
