BIS70

BIS70 is an apartment in Berlin in which a living space extends to a roof terrace. A timber stair connects the levels and becomes a sculptural element in the open living area. The kitchen and fireplace are placed at the centre of the plan, forming a warm core around which daily life unfolds.

Large glazed doors open the interior to the terrace, and white surfaces, timber floors and carefully placed skylights create a bright and calm atmosphere. The project focuses on the quality of everyday spaces: light, material and the connection between inside and outside.
